Arrival and departure times 

In order to allow time to prepare for each new arrival, your holiday accommodation will normally be available from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 10 am on the day of departure. In low season other arrangements may be made by mutual agreement.

Pets/No smoking

We are unable to accept pets and it is also important to note that within both accommodations, smoking is restricted to outside areas only.

Property/swimming pool/garden maintenance

• Our property, swimming pool and garden need to be maintained regularly. This may involve the occasional, and usually only slight disruption. We will endeavour to ensure that any interruptions are kept to a minimum.
• Please note, that our pool is open all year round but NOT heated. The water temperature will therefore, only reflect external weather conditions and temperatures.
• We don’t provide towels for pool or beach. Please bring your own.
• Sun umbrellas, shades and loungers are easily damaged by strong wind and rain and should be taken down during bad weather and when not used.
• For hygiene purposes, please ensure that the sun beds/loungers at the pool are covered with a towel before use.
• Ensure that no sharp objects or anything that may damage the pool liner enters the pool, and please remove floating toys, beds, etc. when not in use as they affect the operation of the filter system.
• Do not enter the pool with copious amounts of suntan lotion/oil on your skin as this will also affect the filtration system.
• During summer it is not permitted to make open fires to prevent forest-fires and thus you are not able to use the barbecue (Casa Deseo).
   

Satellite chanels

• We offer you SKY television and radio.
• You are also able to watch Spanish television. 

WC

Our toilets work by biological action in a septic tank and it’s therefore vital that you do not use cleaning products such as bleach as they will affect the biological action. Likewise, it is vital that nothing other than toilet paper is put down them or you could block the system.

Safety

• For your safety each home has a small fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and fire blanket.
• Parents of young children must ensure that they are supervised at all times. This is a mandatory requirement where ANY pool or garden exists. And especially where swimming pool and garden, like ours, are not fenced in and concerning our swimming pool do not have shallow ends.
• Do not dive into the swimming pool: it’s too undeep.
• Please don’t bring china or glass in the pool area to avoid breakages and broken pieces on terraces or even worse in the swimming pool. In both houses plastic tumblers are available for use in the pool area.
   

Rubbish

• As a general rule, rubbish is not collected at individual properties and it will be necessary to take it to a communal wheely-bin. You can find the one most nearby on top of track by church.
• Please do not leave rubbish bags in or around the property as they will attract vermin and insects.
• To avoid any problems with ants and other unwanted pests, we recommend that all surfaces are wiped clean and kept free of crumbs and sticky substances, and that all food is wrapped and put away.
• Rubbish should be disposed of on a regular basis as this will also attract pests.
   

WHEN IN WARM AND SUNNY SPAIN . . . . . . be aware that the Andalusian climate has MUCH to commend it. However, because of the annual decreasing rainfall, water shortages occur! As for our property, we automatically go over to our reserve tank, but please help us to use it sparingly, particularly in summer. And we also kindly request you to use electricity, heating and airco sparingly. Please switch them off when not in use. And finally we strongly advise you to drink bottled water.

Disclaimer

We accept no responsibility for events beyond our reasonable control, such as inconvenience caused by neighbouring land or property owners, animals or failure of internet and utility services such as electric, water or electrical/gas equipment. Being ‘campo’, we do have occasional power cuts, but are generally for short periods only. Night lights and torches are provided for emergency use only. Where we are made aware of any adverse conditions which we consider may affect the enjoyment of your holiday, we will notify the party leader immediately. In the case of such circumstances arising without our former knowledge, we accept no liability. In the unlikely event that the house becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a full refund. We will also endeavour to provide alternative dates or different accommodation.

You, our guest,  agrees  to accept  responsibility for taking reasonable care of the property and it’s security during occupation, notifying us of any breakages, which may result in a charge for repair or replacement. You will also undertake to leave the property tidy upon departure as you would wish to find it and to strictly observe all notices/information that may exist, relating, for example, to fire risk, health and safety. You also accept responsibility for the keys whilst they are in your possession, and their safe return.  A charge will be levied for lost keys - i.e., key replacement which cannot be guaranteed same day; this may also include locksmith fees for gaining access to the property - which again may not be possible to arrange immediately.

Directions for our accommodation are available on our website (Intro/How to get there/Route description). We are unable to accept responsibility however, where roads may become temporarily closed or routes altered without our prior knowledge. 

We do not accept liability for loss of life, injury or personal accident, nor can we accept responsibility for any loss of possessions during your stay.
